As a Massachusetts first time home buyer, there’s a lot to learn about making your first property purchase. For residents throughout Massachusetts, there’s a workshop being offered to educate you on all the details of the process.
The classes will be offered in the evenings on October 14, 19 and 21 from 6 to 9 p.m. The Classes will not be repeated until December and again in April of 2016.
From Wicked Local:
The workshop will provide information on credit health, budgeting, looking for, selecting, and purchasing a home, home inspection, home energy audits, insurance protection and local resources that may be available to buyers. Those who successfully complete the class will be awarded a certificate of completion that may make them eligible for certain discount mortgage products. Participants must attend all three classes to receive their certificates of completion. Certificates are active for two years.
The fee for the class is $50 for an individual or $70 per household. Classes are open to any interested individuals or households. Registration is required.
